Hey folks,
It’s high time we kept you updated about what’s happening with OP at the moment.
Firstly, for those who haven’t yet heard, we’ve taken on a large room in the Old College on Marksbury Road. These buildings are leased to Artspace Lifespace (http://www NULL.artspacelifespace NULL.com/) who are creating a space for community projects to set up and start creating a better society right here, right now.
The purpose of this is to have a permanent OP space where we can run workshops, have mentoring sessions and work on our projects in a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. Have a look at The Space Project page for more details.

A quick post for today’s session as we’ve been quite busy, and not much time to blog. Great, things are happening! In brief, there’s a new idea for Open Platform involving a permanent space at The College (http://www NULL.artspacecollege NULL.com/), more chats about solar panels, some beautiful nature mandalas and good old project work and one on ones.

Over the last couple of years Open Platform has enjoyed a partnership with a farm, Llwyn Ffranc, near Abergavenny in Wales, run by our friend Stephen Powell. We’ve also helped out at times with the vision behind the farm. And to this end we invited Stephen to write an entry for our blog about what’s happening at Llwyn Ffranc at the moment. What follows are his words:

Hey folks,
This is my first post for Open Platform, and I’m writing this while actually at today’s Open Platform session. My thinking is that it would be nice to share what we’re up to on a Tuesday session with you, dear reader, so you can see what you can get out of it.

Welcome to the Open Platform blog.
We’ve decided to start a blog because we want to share what happens in our Tuesday sessions and to promote opportunities and events from our community friends. These could be internship or volunteering opportunities, interesting events or similar.
So, stay tuned for more updates!
