Easton Dinner Group
“Career development scheme for the unemployed in Easton, primarily working with the Somali community, assisting them with employment and integration.”

“To redevelop corporate land for the amenity of employees and local community groups, creating localised closed loop food production with reduced food and waste miles”
A media collective providing creative support with everything from graphic design to production of seminars with a focus on systems thinking and sustainability.

Endangered T-Shirts
“Endangered T-Shirts is a collective for anyone to be a part of by printing endangered life on a t-shirt. By designing, hand-printing and wearing the endangered logo you can contribute to the struggle against mass extinction through human ignorance.”

Artspace Lifespace have created a fantastic project at the old College on Marksbury Road in Bedminster. Open Platform rent a room in the old College buildings where we can host events, workshops and a space for people to work on their ethical businesses, community groups, social enterprises or personal development.

Bristol Sustainability Toolkit
Sustainability Toolkit is a 12 month programme designed for those wanting to learn about systems thinking and to make the transition to sustainable work.

“Bristol’s contribution to the global Climate 350 campaign was led by The Converging World and supported on the ground by a team of committed Open Platform volunteers. Through a series of live shows we were able to raise awareness, culminating in the Climate Countdown event in Millennium Square.”

Open Platform volunteers were instrumental in researching content for the first city guide to outline Bristol’s good living and green activities.

Llwyn Ffranc Community Forest Farm
Open Platform have a relationship with Llwyn Ffranc – the home of the Gaia Coaching Institute – where we provide our time as volunteers in exchange for the opportunity to work directly with land and develop a farm for the future.
