OP actively supports people in two main areas:
We have a space to support those starting or conceiving a social enterprise, ethical business, innovative idea or campaign.
Gain access to career and personal development, peer mentoring and individual support.
Why was Open Platform started?
Many young people are leaving education with high expectations; many others are looking for a career that they can really believe in. Wanting to change the world and creating a bright and sustainable future it’s not always an easy path to tread, especially on one’s own. An enterprise which recognises and tackles the challenges of career, project and personal development in a unique way was sorely needed…
Open Platform was launched as a Schumacher Institute (http://www NULL.schumacherinstitute NULL.org NULL.uk/) initiative in March 2009 to facilitate and support people on this journey to reach their full potential. It is now a fully independent community.
